Michał Frąckiewicz is a 30 year old Polish gentleman working as brand manager for the famous Warsaw menswear shop Macaroni Tomato. Michal is mostly dealing the e-commerce but sometimes models for the company to show the beautiful garments they offer. He used to have a menswear blog but decided to put all his energy in his work now. Naturally he is a good dresser and cares about quality. And I’ve mentioned it more often but this is a growing trend in Poland. Especially young people enjoy dressing well and care about quality garments. Therefor there is also a good choice of shops and craftsmen around which is getting more interesting every time. Macaroni Tomato is for sure one of them. You can still spot Michał in some of his outfits on his Instagram account Meandryblog. And for now he was so kind to answer the ‘’17 questions to a well-dressed man’’ which gives us a little insight in his personal taste.

What are you wearing today?

Grey turtleneck, white t-shirt, dark jeans, white sneakers

If you had to choose to spend money either on a suit or on a watch, what would you choose?

Suit for sure, I'm not very into watches. Suits are more versatile in my opinion.

What jewellery could a man wear?

My opinion, whatever he find pleasing for himself.

Tie or a bowtie?

Definetly tie.

Do you remember your first jacket?

Sure, but it's kinda embarassing ! It's was a very dark grey, made out of plastic, jacket from Zara. Looked like a part of a suit. In the time I was very proud of it though :D

What is your favourite watch?

My Orient Bambino, only one that I own.

Fountain pen or ballpoint?

Fountain pen is what I would like to use, but mostly stick to ballpoints for now.

Have you found the perfect garment yet?

Yup, navy blazer is in my opinion one of most well-rounded garments ever.

Explain your biggest passion in one sentence?

As much cliché as it sounds, probably my baby daughter took the podium from the day she was born, but in my free time I do love nerdy stuff: books and tabletop RPGs.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Probably eating as I tend to spend way too much on food.

Who is the best dressed man in the world for you?

I do think that maybe it's a bit too much to call him best dressed man in the world, but Andreas Weinas is someone whom style I like the most. He is just a great guy too!

The best book you ever read?

Lord of the Rings to rule them all ;)

Which city should one go shopping?

I do think that one should shop locally if possible, to support producers of high-quality garments and artisians present in his nearest location.

Tweed or flannel?

Flannel.

The most elegant restaurant in the world for you?

Osteria Francescana in Modena is on my bucket list.

Describe your style in three words?

Smart-casual, modern, comfy.

Best purchase you did in the last 6 months?

Not particullary my purchase, but something I've been gifted with – leather gloves with cashmere inside. It's freezing cold in Poland right now and those gloves are just a life saver!
